ChatGPT став доступним у Viber для користувачів з України
Rakuten Viber and OpenAI have announced the launch of ChatGPT integration in the Viber messenger for users in Ukraine.
The new artificial intelligence features will be introduced gradually. They will first become available in the Viber mobile apps for iOS and Android.
What will change after the launch
Users will gain access to a dedicated ChatGPT conversation directly inside Viber. They will be able to ask questions, search for information, receive recommendations, and discuss ideas without switching to a separate service.
Users will also be able to call the AI assistant from personal and group conversations using a special tag. Only the message specifically selected by the user will be sent to ChatGPT for processing.
Available features
The announced features include:
editing images with ChatGPT Images;
creating summaries of articles, documents, and web pages;
automatically summarizing conversations;
improving and editing messages before they are sent;
translating messages into different languages.
A separate ChatGPT account will not be required for most features. However, image-related tools will require users to sign in to an existing OpenAI account or create a new profile through Viber.
The company says the rollout will begin on mobile platforms. The new features are expected to appear in the desktop version of Viber at a later stage.
ChatGPT requests will be processed in accordance with OpenAI’s privacy policy and terms of use. Other tools will only process the texts, images, and requests that users choose to submit.
OpenAI has also reportedly been working on a major expansion of ChatGPT, with plans to develop the service into a broader, universal digital application.
